The Harness sits on the upper torso between the underarm and the waist..
This is recommended by pediatricians because it is one of the strongest
places on a toddler's body. It is not as safe when a harness is
placed at the waist on a young child. When children are older and
extremely steady on their feet you can use a harness or belt at the waist.
Directions for Use
The adult and toddler belts have
slide adjusters. Be sure to adjust the toddler belt to be
comfortable at chest level for toddlers using the harness. Test fit
with child sitting as well as standing. The Toddler belt slides
inside of the harness. |
Slide the toddler belt through the fabric
loop on the harness. |
Position the D ring at the opening. |
Harness then closes with the buckle in the
back. |
Clip the tether to the D ring on the toddler
belt in the back |
With the Double Hook Tether, you can clip the
other end to the adult belt or use the detachable handle. |
