returned to Greater
Cleveland after spending over 10 years in the Entertainment Business in
Los Angeles California. Maureen is a member of Screen Actors Guild and
Actors Equity. Previous
Career Consultant for the esteemed Talent Ventures Inc. with an ongoing
relationship with the. She stays up to date on their classes and
Casting Director workshops in LA, NY and Chicago.
"I work with actors who are serious about learning the art of acting for on-camera work. I am interested in the actor as a professional. This is not a hobby, it is a business. I prepare the actor for the Entertainment Industry. Right now the business is changing fast and only the quick minded adaptable individuals will thrive." Maureen splits her time between projects and teaching. She recently completed Directing a full cast audio play production of "A Study In Scarlet" produced by ACD Productions. |
| What? | Currently I am offering private and semi private classes. You can come in on your own or come in with a "buddy" to work on scene study and share the cost. Please take a look at Maureen's Philosophy to better understand what I teach. I also have a group class on Monday evenings and weekend workshops when I can. |
| When? | Monday through Friday from 6pm to 10pm by appointment and limited time on the weekends. |
| How Often? | Each individual actor sets their own pace. Some actors come in weekly, some monthly and some call me when needed. It is entirely up to you. I have no commitment requirements. |
| Where? | Sessions are held at my
home which is walking distance from Chardon Square on the East side of
Cleveland, Ohio. Chardon is only 20 minutes from the near eastern
suburbs, so don't be afraid to venture out. It's not as far as you
think. |
| How Much? | Currently I am offering a rate of $35 for a 50 minute session. Come in with a "Buddy" for scene work to share the cost. |
| Audition? | I offer a FREE one time half hour interview and goals session. This is a chance for us to meet and discuss your goals to see if I can help you. You can ask questions and get a better feel for what I do. There is no audition for private coaching. Everyone can learn. This is just a silly power tool for coaches with elevated self esteem. It's all in the attitude. If you really want to learn, you can.
